Pictures that Lie
I chose three pictures of myself from recent years (2007, 2008, and 2009). I chose these because I thought it would be interesting to see if I have changed during these three years. I also just wanted to see what it would be like if I were a set of triplets. I chose the background picture of the sun rise in the North Pole because I thought it looked cool. I got the pictures of myself off of face book and I found the picture of the North Pole on stock exchange.
To make this picture, I removed myself from the background of three photos using the magic extractor tool. I then put them on the background photo of the North Pole. Next, I changed the hues, brightness, and saturation to make the photos not look like they were all taken at different times. Then, I resized the photos to make them look like the people in them were all the same size. Finally, I positioned the pictures on the background in an eye-capturing manner and cropped the background to avoid an excess of space.
The manipulation took place for my own amusement, therefore it was not harmful. I am not publishing the photograph to try to pass it off as a real photograph. Even if I was, the assumption that I am part of a set of triplets does not harm anyone, even if it is deceitful.
